WATCH: Swepson Bamboozles Patterson 

Swepson is enjoying a stellar BBL|06 campaign where he sits alongside Mark Steketee as the Heat's leading wicket-taker with nine to his name. 

The 23-year-old has had a break-out 12-months having made his Big Bash League, first-class and List-A debuts during the 2015-16 season. He played the final two games for the Heat in BBL|05, taking four wickets before representing Australia A during the winter quad series. 

Swepson has been touted as future Test prospect by none other than Shane Warne, the greatest leg-spinner the world has seen. 

The Heat are next in action against the Melbourne Stars on Tuesday the 17th of December who have climbed to the top of the BBL ladder after defeating the Perth Scorchers yesterday.

Brisbane Heat’s indigenous artwork was collaboratively designed by WBBL player and proud Kunja woman Mikayla Hinkley and Brisbane Indigenous artist, Delores McDonald (“Aunty Delly”).

The centre circle represents the Gabba, alongside other water holes which used to be near the ground. 87 black strokes on red earth represent the wickets taken by Aboriginal great, Eddie Gilbert who played 23 games for Queensland.
