Squad Named for Grand Final Rematch

The Brisbane Heat have retained the same 13-player squad for tomorrow night’s KFC Big Bash League clash with the Sydney Sixers at the Gabba.

Brisbane will keep the squad that lost on Boxing Day night against Perth in Perth, their first loss of the tournament.

Tomorrow night’s match has been Brisbane’s best-selling game so far this summer, with a few thousand tickets remaining, and limited corporate facilities available.

With a capacity crowd anticipated, fans are encouraged to pre-buy ahead of the game to avoid disappointment.

The game will be the first time the two teams have met since the BBL Final last season when the Heat powered to the club’s second BBL title.

The Sixers are undefeated so far and currently sit on top of the ladder, with the Heat in fourth place at the moment.

The Heat have won seven games in a row at the Gabba, including two wins over the Sixers.

Tomorrow night’s match is the first of two home games with the Heat hosting the Melbourne Stars in the third New Year’s Bash at the Gabba: ‘The New Year’s Bash supporting the KFC Youth Foundation’.

Tickets for the Heat are on sale now through Ticketek
