The Brisbane Heat have named a 13-player squad for tomorrow night’s vital KFC Big Bash League match against the Adelaide Strikers at the Adelaide Oval.
Heat Set For Strikers Clash
South Australian recruit Daniel Drew, a Local Replacement Player, comes back into the line-up while English signing Paul Walter and allrounder Jack Wildermuth drop out of the squad for this game.
Walter has been recovering from a minor shoulder injury and is expected to be available for selection for next week’s Gabba home game against the Hobart Hurricanes on Thursday.
Tomorrow’s match is exclusive to Fox Cricket, available on Foxtel and Kayo Sports. ABC and SEN will also cover the match on radio.
The Heat currently sit in fourth spot on a crowded BBL table, with two more regular season matches following tomorrow's Adelaide match.
Recent Australian squad inclusions Matthew Kuhnemann and Nathan McSweeney will take their place for the Heat for the remainder of the regular season before switching their focus to prepare for the Sri Lanka tour next month.
The Heat will have plenty of local support to call upon with McSweeney, Drew and Spencer Johnson all Adelaide based.
