All-rounder
The Brisbane Heat has bolstered its all-round depth with Jack Wildermuth re-signing for another season ahead of this summer’s KFC Big Bash League. The 31-year-old allrounder becomes the latest re-signing for Brisbane, filling the final spot on its 18-player roster. Wildermuth, who has played 52 BBL career games for the Heat and Melbourne Renegades, overcame an injury cloud last summer to be a valuable reserve player in the squad. He enjoyed a solid off-season preparation during the winter and made a successful foray in the opening rounds of the KFC T20 Max competition, with 44 and 3-15 a timely reminder of his skills. An Australian white ball selection in 2018, Wildermuth enjoyed a solid first half of the summer with the Queensland Bulls in season 2024-25.
