FAQS

  • ALLAN BORDER FIELD

    There is limited free parking available next door at Albion Park Raceway, accessed via Greg Chappell Street. Where possible, we encourage fans to carpool or use rideshare services. 

    Albion Train Station is a 14 minute walk (950m) from the venue. Translink bus routes 306 & 322 stop within 140m of the venue (Stop 16 on Sandgate Road). 

  • If it's raining on game day, we encourage fans to still purchase tickets and make their way safely to the venue. Rain can sometimes delay game play, but in the vast majority of cases we will still get enough overs in to deliver a result. Reduced over matches can be very exciting and we have lots of ways to keep you entertained during rain delays.

    If less than six overs are completed during the entire match and no result is recorded for the match, fans will be entitled to a 100% refund. More info in the 2024-25 Cricket Australia Refund Policy.

  • Allan Border Field and the Gabba are licensed venues with a variety of options when it comes to food and beverages. 

    Patrons are not permitted to bring in food or beverages from commercial outlets. However, homemade food, sealed bottled water (up to 1.25L personal quantities only) and sealed non-alcoholic beverages (up to 600ml) in plastic bottles are permitted. Food and beverages can also be purchased inside the venue.

  • All seating at Allan Border Field is general admission and accessed on a first in, best dressed basis. There are plenty of seating areas to choose from including the Matthew Hayden & Stuart Law grandstands, Champions Corner and the Melissa Bulow Terraces. Fans are also permitted to bring foldable camping chairs and picnic rugs to take advantage of our grassed areas in front of the Queensland Cricket Administration Building and Matthew Hayden Stand. 

    Any patrons that require disabled seating, this is made available in the Matthew Hayden Stand and Mel Burrow Terrace. 

    The Gabba is designated seating. Please make sure you are sitting in your designated seat. The Gabba's conditions of entry can be found here
